Kyra Balch

I have wanted to go into media for as long as I can remember. Wanting to expand on this, I joined the Communications Academy at Indian Trail High School & Academy. I knew I loved taking pictures, but it was in my first journalism class that I found my love for writing. I want to tell peoples' stories and show the sides of people that many, including myself, aren't aware of. After my adviser influenced me to join yearbook my junior year, offering me an editor position, I knew this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Expression through pictures, stories and design.
